Cory Newton - PAHM, RHU, Senior Employee Benefits Consultant, Senn Dunn Insurance
Born in Charlotte, NC, and raised in Hillsborough, NC, Cory graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. He later earned the Professional of the Academy of Healthcare Management (PAHM) and the Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) industry designations. With more than 16 years of experience, including more than 10 years with major group health carriers, Cory delivers extensive knowledge and insight to his clients. He specializes in group medical, dental, disability and life programs for medium to large companies and focuses on alternative funding strategies such as Health Reimbursement Accounts (H R A’s), High Deductible Health Plans with Health Savings Accounts (H S A’s).
Cory serves the insurance industry by participating on several advisory boards and teaching continuing education classes in conjunction with the North Carolina Department of Insurance, and he serves the community through passionate involvement in Rotary International, JDRF, Hospice, and various other causes. When not working with clients, Cory enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and spending time with his wife and six children.
