Neil B. Burton III Executive Director - Michelin Career Center, Clemson University, Clemson, SC
Neil is the Executive Director of the Clemson University Center for Career & Professional Development, and he oversees all Career Development, Employer Relations and Experiential Learning Activities. His organization also manages corporate fund-raising program activities for the University. O’Neil also is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor
in Clemson’s College of Business & Behavioral Science, having taught doctorate, graduate level and undergraduate courses such as: Business Strategy, Management Principles, and Entrepreneurial Principles.
He has served as Chair of Professional Services Committee for the Cooperative Education Division (CED) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), moderator for conference sessions at Southeastern Regional Cooperative Education Conference (SERCEC), moderator for conference sessions at Conference for Industry and Education, member of Conference & Program Planning committees for SERCEC and member of Conference Planning Committee for SERCEC. He is active in a number of ministries at his local congregation, the Clemson First Baptist Church.
Neil earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and his Master of Arts in English from Clemson University and his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina.
